I am working with my ideal clients, with a sales average comparable to my friends' monthly salary, but it wasn't always this way.

When I started my photography journey in 2015, I was hustling for every £. I was constantly chasing new clients because it seemed like the only way to bring in income.

My top package was my ceiling, and I rarely made any more because I didn't know how to sell products after the digital package sale was secured.

My sales wasn't a process but chaos, and I was too tired and overworked to step out of the race and look at my business from the outside.

But I knew it wasn't supporting the lifestyle I wanted for myself and my family. I knew I had to start working smarter, because physically, it wasn't possible to work any harder.

My turning point happened when my husband said he was going to leave if I carried on working this much. I had to act and fast, to save my family.

In the same year, I started attending photography conferences and got introduced to the concept of wall art. Initially, I bought only a few small samples, as my display space was limited, but those sold. I wanted to learn more about making the transition from digital to physical product sales more seamless. I started reading up more on the sales processes and human psychology, and over the coming months, my client journey was mapped out.

I tested various methods for product sale, different phrases and approaches, and soon, the picture was clear and my methods bulletproof.

The results spoke for themselves. Not only did I double my earnings that year, but I stopped feeling completely wiped out and exhausted.
